Pottery by Peggy – New Galleries
This summer, I am pleased to announce that my work can now be found in two new galleries here on Vancouver Island.
The first one is Salish Sea Gallery, located in the quaint village of Cowichan Bay. This gallery is part of the Cowichan Bay Whale watching Tours, so it’s only open from April through October. Their season is dictated by the whales – in spring, they are open Wednesday to Sunday 10am to 4pm. Starting May 1st they are open 7 days a week from 10 am to 5 pm. They close for the winter once the Orca’s migrate north.
The second gallery is Dale’s gallery in Victoria. As a member of the Island Artistan’s Assoication, I have been accepted to be part of their two month exhibition at this contemporary art gallery in Victoria’s Design District. The Island Artisan Exhibition runs all through July and August.
Dales gallery is situated at 537 Fisgard St in historic Chinatown. They are open Monday-Friday 10 am – 5 pm and Saturday 11 am – 4 pm.
You can also find me at Artisan’s Studio at 70 Bastion Street in Nanaimo, across the street from the Bastion Hotel lobby. Hours there are 10 am – 5 pm seven days a week during the summer, Monday til Saturday in winter.
Of course, as always you can find the biggest selection of my work is at The Pottery Store in Chemainus, Vancouver Island’s finest pottery gallery. They are located at 9745 Willow Street in Chemainus and hours are 11 am -5 pm seven days a week year round.
I am pleased to be represented by these four prominent galleries situated from Victoria to Nanaimo, as well as at my home studio in Saltair. I hope you are able to drop in to any of these fine galleries and if you do, be sure to ask for Pottery by Peggy.
Oh, and stay tuned – I am talking to a gallery in Qualicum Beach – more to come.
Thanks for visiting Pottery by Peggy. Talk to you soon!
